My student voice

I am now at stage 8 in maths, 11.5-12.5 years in reading and 3a in writing. I am most proud of maths and I liked reading a lot. I enjoyed scratch the most and I like to do maths for fun. I liked scratch because you get to decide what your game is about and how to play it. I will always try to get better.

Athletics Day

Yesterday was Athletics day. We did lots of fun activities. One of them was a shoe throwing game that          we threw shoes as far as we can. There was also a 50 meter running race, but I didn't do it.

Changing landscapes diorama

               

                                         My Diorama

                  In term three 2017, our class created dioramas inside shoe boxes. Our theme was
                  changing landscape.This is how I made mine: First, I got green and blue paper for
                  the grass and the sky. I cut out cardboard for mountains in the background and
                  made clouds out of paper. I also made a 3D volcano made of cardboard with orange
                  paint for lava. Then I made a beach and a tiny tree.

The lock down

Today, we were going to have a lock down drill at lunch time. I went into the playground and played. Suddenly the alarm rang, I ran to room 10 and lay down. I knew it was a drill. I thought about my new scratch game for 10 minutes. Finally, Mr Herlihy came in and we lined up in are classes. We had some more time playing. Then we ate lunch.
